I had a debate with another Christian who adamantly insists that God is this bi-polar angry God who would kill people and send people to hell. But at the same time he is so loving that he would give his only son to save mankind from its own sins and taught us a lot of good things like loving your enemies and all that.
Long story short, we went back and forth quoting verse after verse.
In the end I asked him...
"So if it is true that God (Yehovah / Jesus / Holy Spirit) is this bi-polar God... don't you think that the only logical conclusions that any reasonable person would make... is either (1) God doesn't exist and is purely man-made. Or (2) God is just like any other god or goddess."
All he could say was how I'm putting God in a box and how I don't understand God.
So I asked him if he understands God completely.
He also said no. But he still insists that he MUST follow a God he doesn't fully understand and a God who is a bipolar dictator as the badly translated English versions of the Bible make him appear to be.
So what does that make the mainline Christian who takes the Bible in English at face value and at the same time ignores what the Hebrew says? The Bible in Hebrew has given me MANY revelations and has showed me how mistranslated (either intentionally or unintentionally) the english versions are...

Is the agenda to convert people or to convert ONLY the SHEEPLE-MINDED?
Must be the case since most people who are "thinker" types seem to embrace:
- atheism
- agnosticism
- transhumanism
- wicca
- pagan
- new age
- buddhist
- spiritual non-religious
